Tommy Waterworth’s path to real estate reads like a uniquely American story – from pushing carts at Meadowbrook Country Club at age 13 to serving in Baghdad as an Army combat veteran, before finally finding his way back home to Richmond. Along the way, he discovered his true calling: helping people transform their lives through real estate.

As co-owner of Ruckart Real Estate, Tommy brings the same dedication to service that drove his military career to every aspect of the business. His approach is simple but powerful: love everyone, do what you say you’re going to do, and celebrate the milestones together. It’s a philosophy that shapes not just his client relationships, but the entire culture at Ruckart.

What excites Tommy most isn’t just closing deals – it’s seeing Ruckart’s proven process help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. “When people trust and go all-in, it really works,” he says with characteristic enthusiasm. “I get a rush from seeing it work.” This passion for serving others extends beyond real estate to his dedication to youth baseball, where you’ll often find him coaching or volunteering with the local little league.

A Richmond native who’s lived everywhere from Church Hill to Midlothian, Tommy knows the region’s neighborhoods inside and out. But it’s his appreciation for the emotional weight of every real estate transaction that sets him apart. He’s never forgotten that buying or selling a home is more than just a financial decision – it’s a physical and emotional journey that deserves patience, understanding, and genuine care.

When he’s not helping clients or building the Ruckart team, Tommy’s usually spending time with his wife Sarah and their two boys, sharing his love for the outdoors through hiking and fishing.
